Alice Whalley

Alice’s path to the priesthood began with a Psalm 19-style response to astronomy, which she studied at UCL before joining us at St Michael’s for two years from 2009. Like most St Michael’s Pastoral Assistants, she went to study at St Stephen’s House Oxford, before being ordained Deacon at Petertide 2014 in the Diocese of Chichester. She served her title at Moulsecoomb just outside Brighton and since March 2017 has been curate at St Swithun’s East Grinstead. On 4th September 2018 she will be inducted as the new Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Brownswood Park in north London, with her installation set as 14th September that year.
